Will it roll true?+
Nylon texture + a flat base + infill. The base is 80% of the roll. Get the pad right and 9–12 stimp is in reach.
DIY or hire a hand?+
Under ~250–400 sq ft with a flat pad, DIY-friendly. Contours, drainage, or a slope — hire help for the base, lay the carpet yourself.
What do I still rent?+
A plate compactor and a sod cutter. Everything else ships in the crate.
How long to build?+
A 12 × 18 Ridge Kit is a weekend if the pad is already right. The pad is the job.
