216 sf on a compacted aggregate pad is DIY-friendly. Rent a plate compactor and a sod cutter. The pad is the job.

How long does a Ridge Kit take?
A 12-by-18 is a weekend if the pad is already right. Pad work adds a day or two, plus compactor rental.
What do I still have to rent?
Plate compactor, sod cutter, and a wheelbarrow. A drop spreader for infill helps. None of it needs a license.
Can I add breaks and contours?
Yes — shape them in the base with aggregate, not by stretching the turf. Over roughly two tiers, hire a hand.
Nylon or polypropylene?
Nylon for the putting face — it holds texture and rebounds under infill. PP is a landscape yarn and lies down under sun and traffic.
Is the price fixed?
It is a band until final mill spec lands. Your cut list comes back with firm line items and a freight number for your zip.
What if I want a bigger green later?
Kits seam to each other. Tell us and we cut the collar so the next panel joins clean.
